World Travel Market 2013

The World Travel of 2013 did not at a first glance, reflect any difficult trading conditions.

Perhaps there has been a gentle recovery in the market.

Here are a few photos and impressions.....

Rafa Benitez ?? The great football manager?
No a different kind of boss from Chez Léon in Brussels.

A jolly cheers from 'The Man' at the Flanders stand.

I can now reveal one of the best kept secrets ? Bulgarian wine.
Long gone are the days of buying a bottle for £1.67p from a local chain wine store.
Bulgarian wine is now superb !

Helped in my appreciation of this excellent nectar of the gods. Mr Lubomir Stoyanov, Sommelier. I lingered at his stand far too long.....hic !

A great selection of wine on the Bulgarian stand.

As I said - Nectar of the gods

There was a jungle to enjoy from Costa Rica(sorry about the photo)

Bye bye Brazil ? I usually spell it the Portuguese way, Brasil. There seemed acres of empty space on this stand. "Are you going to have a kick about with a football before the World Cup?" I asked. I was met with a shrug of the shoulder and a mention of 'budgets'. All the money went to Frankfurt apparently. Not good WTM, not good.

A lonely table on a lonely stand.

Oman brightened things up with a castle...

Whilst all the time, Buddha kept watch.
